El repertorio de Alejandro Sanz cobra nueva vida en el esperado musical El Alma al Aire
La emblemática discografía del cantautor español Alejandro Sanz se convierte en el eje central de una nueva propuesta escénica titulada El Alma al Aire. Este proyecto teatral presenta una trama argumental inédita que se desarrolla en Gazulea, una localidad costera imaginaria inspirada en la provincia de Cádiz.
La puesta en escena, desarrollada por la compañía Stage Entertainment tras cuatro años de labor creativa, tiene su debut programado para este jueves en el Teatro Ocaso Coliseum de Madrid. El propio artista formó parte activa del proceso de gestación y confesó su asombro ante la renovación musical de sus melodías más conocidas.
The argument centers on Ale, a musically gifted young man living with his relatives, whose routine changes with the arrival of a real estate promoter from Madrid and her daughters. This dynamic sparks tensions regarding local preservation versus modernization, interweaving characters from multiple generations.
The principal cast features performers such as Pepe Nufrio, Amanda Digón, Lydia Fairén, Hugo Ruiz and Natán Segado, backed by a live ensemble of twelve instrumentalists. Furthermore, artist Inma La Carbonera embodies the regional Levante wind, supported by stage effects that simulate a storm during the performance.
Playwright Álvaro Tato received creative autonomy for the script, following only two main premises from the musician: avoiding an autobiographical approach and maintaining a strong presence of southern culture. To achieve this, the writer travelled to Cádiz seeking atmospheric inspiration for the narrative.
Well-known themes like Amiga mía, Corazón partío and Y si fuera ella reaparecen con arreglos diferentes, integrándose en la trama dramática. El objetivo principal consistió en que los asistentes identificaran los temas populares pero experimentaran su interpretación de un modo completamente novedoso.
Sanz monitored the evolution of the production through attendance at readings and rehearsals, maintaining the perspective of an initial spectator. Meanwhile, the creative team highlights the persistent enthusiasm shown by the interpreter throughout the entire development.
